Dr. Peikari served as Chief of Medicine at Medical City Plano from 2009 to 2010. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Peikari is also a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Peikari earned his Medical Degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, where he conducted breast cancer research through a Biochemistry Laboratory Fellowship. He completed a Rotating Internship in Internal Medicine and Categorical Residency in Internal Medicine at the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas where he received recognition for the Outstanding Diagnosis of X-rays. In addition, Green College of Medicine at Oxford University in the United Kingdom selected Dr. Peikari from a worldwide pool of applicants for a prestigious Externship in Neurology. At Oxford, he worked under the world's expert physician in rare neurologic conditions. Throughout his education, multiple honor societies honored Dr. Peikari with membership.
